Dear Parents,

First and foremost, welcome to our website. I've grown up in martial arts my whole life and my instructor, Tom Callos, always said, "Parents are the best teachers we'll ever have." So for that, I thank you.

It is no secret that our society's youth is exposed to large doses of negativity everyday. The media, internet, video games, and sometimes even our next door neighbors can contribute to this unwanted influence. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to end the negative influence. The only thing that we can do is supply an education that will intelligently guard children from our worlds' negativity. . . and eventually, that education will help them get involved and stomp it out.
By asking children to document their acts of kindness, we are teaching them to focus on the good that is present in the world instead of the bad. When we draw children's attention to acts of kindness, we are taking their attention away from the ever-present negativity and are, hopefully, snuffing it out. No matter what it is, the fact that they are recognizing the kindness that goes on around them rather than the negativity is a huge accomplishment.

How can you help? We want this program to enter all schools around the nation. In order to do so, we need to get your school principal on board. Please download and hand our Principal Packet to your child's school principal. This will inform him or her of our cause and hopefully bring the A.O.K program into your child's school.
